I
started getting menopausal-onset migraines about three years ago. My
doctor prescribed a great medication -- it works every time. But when
I saw an article in the PG that mentioned prevention, I jumped on it.
A woman who had been plagued with debilitating migraines (is there
any other kind?) for years was talking to her doctor during a routine
checkup. He suggested that she add Coenzyme Q10 to her vitamin
regimen for the antioxidant benefits. After taking 150 mg per day for
several months, she realized she hadn't had a migraine in weeks. I
couldn't wait to try it for myself and had the same result. I've been
taking CoQ10 for about two years and haven't had more than two
migraines during that time. What blessed relief!
I'm
sure it won't work for everyone, but I've mentioned this to several
people who've had the same success that I have. I thought it was
worth passing on to you.
